English speaking countries

There are many English speaking countries in the world. Some are very large but others are small. The largest English speaking countries are Canada, the U.S. and Australia.

The largest area when speaking English is Canada. It has 3,850,000 square miles, and the smallest area is Nauru. It is a very small island not far from Australia. It has an area of 8 square miles. I have many friends in Canada, they speak French.

Not all Canadiands speak English. French is spoken in Quebec.

Some people said that French is as easy as English although other people believed that English pronunciation is difficult but English grammar is easier than French grammar.

Many countries have English as their official language, about 25, but many people in other countries study English as a second languague.

But why it is the reason English is a important language?

Because English is very useful in commerce, industry and international relations.

The discovery of a new continent

After the invention of Gutenberg´s printing system, history has been full of great discoveries and inventions. The most important discovery was that of the New World, the discovery of a new continent.

Gutenberg was still printing his books in Germany when a great man was born in Genoa,Italy. His name was Christopher Columbus. What was Columbus like? They say he had a long face, red hair, blue eyes and an aquiline nose. He was a very intelligent man. He studied geography and cosmography. He believed that the earth was round and he thought it was possible to reach India, China and Japan in the Far East by sailing west. He planned the journey to those rich lands.

Isabella, Queen of Castile, and her husband Ferdinand, King of Aragon gave him the money to make his journey to the Far East. On August 3rd,1492 Columbus, with his fleet of three small ships, the "Santa Maria", the "Niña" and the "Pinta", left the port of Palos, Spain and sailed to the Canary Islands.

MY WEEKEND

Hello this day I like to talk about my weekend pass me the truth too busy happily because I do not like to spend the wrong time. As far back from school I was commissioned to do the job quite well that we seek to organize in such a way that could make all the respective activities as do my exercises, go to the pantry, cleaning my house, talking with good friends, go to the church, and so on.

It was fun talking with my friends because I fell asleep talking to each other in the morning I woke up neither of the 2 live in Tampico but this is a clear example of that true friends will always be close even though they may not be physically they are always next to me. Too much enjoyment in the company of my family because we are many and that's what I like most is that big, this truth was a weekend of those who should be repeated more often.

MUSEUMS

POP ART AND CUBISM

Two of major painting styles represented in many art museums are pop art, cubism.
Though very different from one another, these two styles represent some of the major achievements in Britan in parallel with U.S.A and France from the 20th century up to the present time.

Pop Art challenged tradition by asserting that an artist's use of the mass produced visual commodities of popular culture is contiguous with the perspective of Fine Art since Pop removes the material from its context and isolates the object, or combines it with other objects, for contemplation. The concept of Pop Art refers not as much to the art itself as to the attitudes that led to it. Much of Pop Art is considered incongruent, as the conceptual practices that are often used make it difficult for some to readily comprehend.

Cubism was a 20th century avant-gard art movement , pioneered by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, that revolutionized European painting and sculpture, and inspired related movements in music and literature. The first branch of cubism, known as Analytic Cubism, was both radical and influential as a short but highly significant art movement between 1908 and 1911 in France. In its second phase, Synthetic Cubism, (using synthetic materials in the art) the movement spread and remained vital until around 1919, when the Surrealist movement gained popularity.
My personal opinion is that each style is unique, they are also related.

In Tampico city only we have two museums but its of the culture huasteca I had the opportunity of went in the last vacation with my parents and is very interesting because you can learn more about our ancestors and yours traditions.

T.V

I think I would be better off without TV

1. In the past I tryed to be without t.v. and I think I felt better without it, because my days were really busy and it was impossible to watch t.v.

2. Actually in this moment is very difficult for me to watch t.v. because I have things to do.

3. Another reason to not watch t.v. for me is because this is a big distract and sometimes I spent all my time watching t .v. programs.

4. I think that t.v. is not a priority for me.

5. Today there are not many good programs to see the majority does not help you learn something worthwhile and feel it is time lost.

I might be worse off.

1. T.V. it is important because you need to watch news and documentaries programs.

2. I think it is necessary to know the t.v most important developments that are happening in the world.

3. I think television is a resource that if used properly helps us learn many things that we do not have in our reach for one reason or another, whether sports or entertainment events that perhaps in our country are not common.

4. Also, if we had no TV may not know that this happening in the world and how that affects us all as now with the crisis of U.S.A.

5. I think it's important to express the t.v as a society and in the same way to instruct others to find solutions to problems through this medium we know.
